Saving

How do I save something?

In Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Safari or Photos, tap Share, then Jarlet. After a screenshot, tap the thumbnail, then Share, then Jarlet. Copied a link? Open Jarlet and tap the paste button in the bar at the bottom.

Jarlet isn't in my share sheet.

Scroll the row of apps to the end, tap More and turn Jarlet on. You can also move it nearer the front there.

How do I bring in screenshots I've already taken?

In Jarlet, go to Settings, then Import screenshots. With full Photos access, Jarlet lists the screenshots taken since your last import. With access to selected photos only, you choose them yourself. Free imports take 50 at a time; Jarlet Pro takes any number.

Can screenshots be saved automatically?

On iOS 27, a Shortcuts automation can save each screenshot to Jarlet as you take it. The steps are in Settings, under Automatic screenshots.

Organising

How do I organise my saves?

Open a save, tap its menu, then Add to collection or Favourite. You can also touch and hold a card to favourite or archive it. Your collections, Favourites and the Archive are in the Collections tab, and Home can show only your favourites.

Where did an archived save go?

Archiving takes a save off Home without deleting it. Find it in Collections, then Archive. Touch and hold it, then choose Unarchive.

Does deleting a collection delete its saves?

No. The saves stay in Jarlet; only the collection goes.

Reading and sorting

Why is a save in "Check these"?

Jarlet wasn't sure what it is. Pick the right category from the item's menu; Jarlet never changes your choice back.

Why does a recipe say "Incomplete recipe"?

The source didn't contain the whole recipe, for example a video caption that only lists the ingredients. Jarlet keeps what was there and never makes up the rest. Open the original to find the missing part.

Do I need Apple Intelligence?

No. With Apple Intelligence, Jarlet also writes short summaries and topic tags. Without it, everything else works: saving, reading text in screenshots, sorting with built-in rules, recipe cards and search.

Does it work in Greek?

The app is in English and Greek. Apple's models don't support Greek yet, so Greek saves get their title from their own text, and their hashtags as tags. Text in Greek screenshots can't be read on the device yet.

Jarlet Pro

What does Pro include?

Unlimited recipe cards (15 are free), importing any number of screenshots at once (50 per import are free), and Export everything. It's one purchase, with no subscription, and Family Sharing is included. Saving, search and sorting are free and unlimited.

I bought Pro, but the app doesn't show it.

Go to Settings, then Restore purchases, signed in with the Apple Account you bought it with.

How do I get a refund?

Apple handles purchases and refunds: reportaproblem.apple.com

How do I delete something?
